Graduate Procurement Analyst

Job title: Graduate Procurement Analyst

Location: Warwick

Salary: £30,000 

Contract: 6 month fixed term contract 

Hybrid working 2/3 days in the office and remaining days from home

Our client a leading energy provider in the Warwick area has a requirement for a Graduate Procurement Analyst to join their team in an exciting and vital transformation period. Creating cleaner, greener systems that serves generations to come.

You will be a valued member of our Adecco Emerging Talent function working onsite with a market-leading organisation, initially, the assignment is initially for 6 months with scope for transitioning permanently in the future, so you need to be someone with a permanent mindset!

This opportunity provides a fantastic experience for someone wanting to enter the professional world of procurement, coupled with an interest in a large energy provider.

 

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Procurement Helpdesk representative to manage Procurement related queries raised by the business.
  • Co-ordinate the supplier onboarding process for all new supplier requests
  • Carry out supplier assurance checks in line with the agreed process and standards
  • Manage buying channel maintenance, ensuring all relevant guides are maintained and accurate and linked to systems
  • Carry out planned and ad hoc management reporting in line with the Procurement reporting suite
  • Provide support to users that have issues with Procurement systems and processes
  • Act as an administrator for SAP Ariba and other Procurement systems
  • Monitor compliance to Procurement policy and procedures
  • Manage and maintain catalogues
  • Manage Helpdesk response and resolution time against agreed SLA

 

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level is essential, ideally business focussed degree
  • A strong customer focus and desire to develop processes to improve business performance 
  • Knowledge of procurement systems.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and building relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to assimilate and present complex information. 
  • Excellent Microsoft skills experience especially in Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
  • Commercial awareness and forward-thinking
  • Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and targets
  • Enjoyment of working with a wide range of different people and role types
