Practitioner Psychologist

Job title:          Practitioner Psychologist

Location:         Barton School, Barton-upon-Humber, Lincolnshire

Salary:             up to £52,000 per annum

Hours:             up to 22.5 hours per week

Contract:         Permanent

Essential:        Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle required

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity to join an already established inhouse clinical team which comprises of Clinical Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy. 

As Practitioner Psychologist, you will provide advice, information and training to staff, other members of the Clinical Wellbeing and multi-disciplinary team(s), commissioners and other agencies regarding the impact on pupils of trauma and adverse life experiences; attachment difficulties; neurodiversity and educational needs; including social emotional and mental health needs and behaviours that challenge.

Essential Criteria:

  • Post-graduate doctoral level in Clinical Psychology (or its equivalent if trained before 1996) as accredited by the BPS
  • Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Registered with the BPS (desirable)
  • Willingness to work towards further qualifications as required (desirable)
  • Undertake relevant group induction training on commencement
  • Membership of relevant Clinical Networks (desirable)
  • Full driving licence and access to a car
