Graduate Energy Consultant

Energy Oasis is a carbon reduction and sustainability consultancy based in Harrogate, working around the UK with various commercial clients. 

This role requires a forward-thinking, energetic and passionate individual to help us develop and deliver future schemes.

Your job will be to support the Technical Director and wider team in the preparation and presentation of energy reduction and generation projects, the role will require the collection, interpretation and analysis of data to facilitate our clients in making informed decisions about implementing renewable energy projects.  

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Product Development: Collaborate with the technical team to develop project proposals, including cost estimates, project timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Energy Assessment: Assist with conducting on-site assessments, data analysis, and energy audits to determine the feasibility of renewable energy projects, including LED lighting, solar, wind and hydrogen.
  • Data Analysis: Perform modelling and analysis, including return on investment (ROI) calculations to present to our clients.
  • Report Preparation: Assist in generating detailed reports and documentation to summarise project finding, recommendations and outcomes.
  • Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their renewable energy efficiency and renewable energy needs and goals.  Assess their current energy usage and provide recommendations for renewable energy solutions.
  • Project Development:  Assist in the development of renewable energy projects, including site selection, permitting and design.
  • Project Management: Work closely with the team to assist in the implementation of projects, coordinating with various stakeholders and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Feasibility Studies: Help to produce feasibility studies, assessing the viability of the projects, considering factors like cost, environmental impact, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree, 2:1 or above (ideally a degree related to Energy & Renewables such as Geography)
  • Full UK Driving Licence and Car
