Salary: £33,600 per annum + 17.5% annual performance bonus + Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Norwood, Sheffield, S21 2DR

What you'll be doing;

  • Cover for Shift Chemists as required 
  • Deputise for Technical Manager 
  • Provide training and competency checks for shift chemists 
  • Ensure instruments are calibrated/QC checked and records are kept 
  • Manage customer samples (track, review analysis and send out analysis) 
  • Manage drum surcharges (keep track of sludge and contamination surcharges and ensure that SF is updated) 
  • EA returns (check paperwork and get correct info as required, check outgoings sheet for errors)
  • Working with Technical Manager to ensure the efficient running of the laboratory

What we're looking for;

  • HNC Chemistry or equivalent (UK) 
  • CMS Competency (UK) 
  • IOSH Managing Safely 
  • RA/MS / COMAH Awareness / COSHH Awareness
