Experienced C/C++ Cross Platform Game Programmer

Feral Interactive is looking for skilled programmers with a low-level technical bias and some professional experience in the games industry to join our development team.

We specialise in bringing AAA games to new platforms and audiences by integrating them perfectly into the target operating systems. Our releases cover a range of genres and present a variety of programming challenges.

Experience of technical software development, ideally in games, is strongly desired, but for the right candidate, not mandatory. This is a technically challenging role only suitable for those who are highly competent in C/C++ and happy working with lower-level data structures and complex algorithms.

Our ideal candidate will be able to take responsibility for significant areas of our code base including low level and critical sections. These might be developed from scratch to fulfil a specific need or you could take over existing code to enhance or further develop it. Code correctness and performance are both vital and you will need to be familiar with techniques for achieving both.

Problem solving and bug resolution are also key skills. To help us understand how good yours are, please include a link to your personal portfolio or GitHub in your application.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently but can also work well in a team. You’ll have the support of our other developers , and our on-site QA team. If this sounds like you, then this is a great opportunity to move to the next stage of your development career.

This is a permanent, full time position at our office in Wandsworth, southwest London.
