Your continued development is paramount to us and we offer tailored guidance and support as you work on interesting and challenging projects.

What will your Responsibilities be?
You will contribute as part of a team to solve design problems and engineering challenges across all stages of the product development process. This means working from client instructions and defined requirements to analyse problems, theoretically model and simulate, develop concepts, refine, evaluate, prototype, test, design in detail, design for assembly, and transfer to manufacture.

You will represent the company through external meetings with clients and suppliers, as well as being an effective member of internal project teams.

Has an understanding of the skills, structured approach and tools used in problem analysis, concept development, detail design, evaluation and manufacture of, medical devices, lab instrumentation, food and drink industry processing and manufacturing equipment, industrial products and consumer products.
6. Has strong CAD skills and experience modelling parts, assemblies and producing drawings, ideally in Solidworks.

7. Has knowledge of different prototyping and manufacturing processes and their suitability at different stages of the product development process and for different applications.
8. Has knowledge of different materials that can be used in product development.
9. Is able to effectively communicate ideas and concepts through personal interactions, presentations, sketches, and written reports.
10. Can manage their time effectively and efficiently against project time and budget constraints.
11. Has an open attitude to working in a peer-review culture of project and design work.
