Programme Overview

Based in our Chester office, the Future Prospects Insight Programme is a 6-week insight programme commencing in July. This programme allows participants to gain a detailed understanding of our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) team.

The CFO Team is responsible for the overall financial management of Bank of America and supports a number of trading functions across Global Markets. This work helps multinational organisations, governments, and individuals to trade globally and is critical to our success as a bank.

This team leverages technology to automate processes, standardize reporting and increase productivity as an essential partner for all functions across the bank, driving growth and profitability.

Our CFO employees are made up of Financial Control, Financial Management, Strategy, Liquidity, Financial Planning and Analysis and Data Management roles.

Training and Development

As part of this programme, you will be given the opportunity to learn about Finance and Accounting, daily profit and loss variance, balance sheet substantiation, market volatility, independent price verification, line of business performance, revenue commentary etc.

In addition to this, we offer a broad range of experiences, which may include:

Upon joining the programme, you will be supported and guided to ensure there are no barriers to your participation in this paid programme - your travel, accommodation and programme expenses will be paid for.

This is your chance to develop the skills and knowledge required to be successful in a variety of roles within the banking industry and as we look to grow our Chester campus, there may be opportunities to become part of the team.

Eligibility

  • To be eligible for this programme, you are required to be graduating from university in 2024
  • You must be available to join the programme from July to August 2024
