A great opportunity to join an expanding dynamic business in the crypto space as an assistant management accountant!

Seeking an Assistant Management Accountant with payroll processing experience to join the Finance Team in a new role, based in London and reporting to the FC. You will be joining a vibrant, growing international business with study support and great long-term career development opportunities in management accounting.

Key Responsibilities of the new role will include

  • Run monthly payroll for UK and US based employees; assist with Japan entity payroll
  • Support AP invoices processing, coding and payments
  • Assist in preparation of quarterly VAT reports and returns
  • Maintain fixed assets register, together with necessarily depreciation adjustments
  • Assist in month-end closing procedures, including preparing Profit and Loss monthly report
  • Assisting in preparation of Debtors and Creditors summary schedules highlighting findings to the FC
  • Develop, implement and monitor the company’s annual budget
  • Monitor and analyse cost trends month-on-month and against the budget, collaborate with relevant departments to control and reduce costs
  • Maintain up to date documentation of business process and accounting policies
  • Provide support with annual statutory audit

 

Preferred Skills Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including strong Excel skills is essential
  • Excellent teamwork and relationship management skills and a demonstrated ability to work both on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Ability to develop new skills and understand financial reporting developments as required
  • Demonstration of honesty, integrity and good reputation
