Graduate Regulatory Strategy Analyst - Electricity Distribution

About the role
National Grid Electricity Distribution is at the heart of energy in the UK. The electricity we transport gets the nation to work, powers schools and brings energy to life – connecting the nation. Our business needs to continuously develop and adapt to exceed the expectations of our customers and communities today and to make possible the energy systems of tomorrow. You will play a leading role in NGED’s engagement with Ofgem and other Distribution Network Operators on a number of regulatory matters ensuring we provide robust regulatory submissions and responses to Ofgem queries.

 

About You 
You’re committed to developing yourself, always ready to ask questions of your colleagues in order to learn, and keen to do your own research and find out as much as you possibly can about your subject.

 

What you'll need
The energy transition demands perspectives from a range of disciplines. As such, we are looking for highly ambitious graduates who have a minimum 2.2 degree from a range of diverse backgrounds – STEM, business, social science and beyond.

 

  • Flexibility to travel and/or work unsupervised will be required throughout the placement.
  • You’ll also ideally have a valid full UK Driving License.

 

Location
Based in NGED Regulation team. Base location will be discussed with successful candidates.

Qualifications
We are proud to offer a starting salary of £33,154 (Bachelor’s) or £34,300 (Master’s).
