About the role
Working within a multi discipline team, Project Engineers and Engineering Specialists manage Construction Projects on the 132kV and 33kV system carrying out substation commissioning and substation maintenance tasks along with network operations as required.  The roles are a mixture of site and office based activities - managing and working with contractors and other team members.

 

About you
You’re committed to developing yourself, always ready to ask questions of your colleagues in order to learn, and keen to do your own research and find out as much as you possibly can about your subject.

 

What you'll need
Are you an ambitious and committed graduate who has attained (or are predicted to attain) a minimum of a 2:2 in one of the following subjects?

 

  • Electrical/Electronic/Combined or Power Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

 

 

 

Location
Based in NGED Operations Major Projects team. Base location will be discussed with successful candidates.

What you'll get
We are proud to offer a starting salary of £33,154 (Bachelor’s) or £34,300 (Master’s).
