Biological Engineer

Responsibilities:

Research and Development: Lead the research and development efforts for veterinary medicine formulations and vaccines targeting specific diseases in pig farming, with a focus on designing and optimising preparation methods and process workflows for vaccines.

Pathogen Management: Conduct screening, identification, and cultivation of pathogens associated with specific diseases, overseeing antigen extraction and purification processes.

Quality Control: Take responsibility for the quality control and mass production of vaccine reagents, ensuring strict compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements.

Immunogenicity Assessment: Design and execute immunogenicity assessment experiments for vaccine reagents, conducting immune effectiveness tests and performing thorough data analysis.

Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with other departments and teams, actively participating in the coordination and resolution of issues and challenges encountered in the production of vaccine reagents.

Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of the latest developments in the industry and scientific research, maintaining awareness of emerging diseases and actively engaging in research to address corresponding prevention and control needs.

Requirements:

Language: Native-level Mandarin speakers preferred. 

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or above in Biology, Bioengineering, Microbiology, Virology, or a related field.

Knowledge and Skills: Possess a solid foundation in biology and bioengineering, demonstrating familiarity with molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, and related fields. Proficient in basic laboratory skills, including gene cloning, cell culture, protein expression, etc.

Experience: Showcase relevant internship experience or involvement in bioengineering-related projects.

Adaptability: Demonstrate strong learning and adaptability, showcasing the ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge and skills and apply them effectively to practical work. Maintain sensitivity and a continuous learning attitude towards advancements in biological engineering research.

Team Collaboration: Exhibit a strong team collaboration spirit, capable of working closely and effectively coordinating with team members to achieve shared objectives.
