Private Debt Analyst

You will be fully integrated into the activity of the Private Debt team that has nearly 40 people across its various offices in Paris, London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Madrid, Milan and New York. 

 

You will benefit from a strong exposure and will be given responsibility from the beginning of the internship within a global player in asset management. You will actively participate in the following missions:

  • Participate in all stages of the execution of debt investment transactions, from the receipt of the NDA to the passage through the credit committee;
  • Assist the team in the study of new investment opportunities by participating in the analysis of the activity, the market, the positioning and the financial performance of the company;
  • Participate in the realization of financial models for LBOs and company valuations;
  • Contribute to the drafting of the credit notes required for the decision of the Investment Committee;
  • Monitor existing investments (financial analysis, meetings with management) and prepare reports for investors.

Profile:

  • Master 1 or 2 from a business school, engineering school or university with a specialization in corporate finance;
  • Very good knowledge of the Office pack;
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance. Previous experience in corporate finance (private equity/debt, investment banking, leveraged finance, transaction services, audit, etc.) is preferred;
  • Good analytical, synthesis and oral & written communication skills;
  • Curiosity, dynamism, rigor, adaptability, ability to work in a team;
  • French and English fluent.
