Junior Data Analyst - Leading Global Insurer - Miryco Consultants Ltd
This is an opportunity for a Commercial/Business Data Analyst with 1-2 years experience to join a major insurance and technology group. Please note this role is being offered as either hybrid or fully remote, depending on preference, however, it will be helpful if you are located in the London or South East.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to Head of Trading Performance,
- You will derive insight from Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in relation to trading data.
- You will learn to breakdown data insights across the Commercial team to better understand gaps in the customer journey and work with the Head of Commercial Performance and Commercial Performance Managers to improve customer retention via online comparison websites.
- Understand the day-to-day data issues that the business strategy faces.
- Compile and analyse data related to products, pricing, trading, and customer journey data, and develop clear visualizations to convey complex data in a straightforward fashion.
- Communicate with business leaders to understand and solve their data problems to enhance business objectives.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years' Data Analysis experience (ideally within the Insurance sector)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics or Mathematics or similar STEM experience
- OR
- 1-2 year's equivalent practical experience in an apprenticeship or work experience.
Salary:
- £32,000 - £37,000 base salary range
- 10% annual bonus

Working Arrangement:
- Permanent position, full time.
- Either hybrid ORfully remote, depending on preference. It will be helpful if you are located in London or the South East and able to travel to the West Sussex office (within 45 mins of London) once a month, or more if desired.
