Software Engineer

Overview:

We are looking for an energetic, driven and ambition Software Engineer to grow our exciting

start-up company. We want someone who can come in and take ownership of our AWS

architecture and continue to maintain and build our systems.

This role is perfect for someone who likes to create secure and highly scalable cloud systems.

The successful candidate will also be instrumental in key decisions at this early stage and

influential in building the cloud infrastructure at the core of our business.

The role will cover a broad range of cloud infrastructure from database/server systems to

modern serverless architectures.

Core job responsibilities

· Creation and update of systems within our AWS environment using terraform

· Creating a CI/CD pipeline

· Maintaining correct approaches to code management

· Interacting with the frontend team to provide connection with our data systems to drive

our main products.

Core required skills/experiences

· Experience within cloud infrastructure, deploying and maintaining with a preference for

AWS

· Excellent scripting and programming experience with a preference for Python

· Hands on with serverless approaches· Experience using infrastructure as code systems with a preference for terraform

Required:

Must have at least 5 years working experience as a Software Engineer.

Experience with JavaScript and Typescript

Must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsoring.

Desirable:

Experience with Ionic
