About the role:
Product management is all about driving the development, market launch and continual support and improvement of our company's products.
As we continue our growth journey, we are looking to recruit a Product Analyst who will play an important role in keeping the Product team and wider business informed about the market landscape. Your main duties will be maintaining sources of market insight in support of ongoing product activity and new model development, conducting market research, monitoring and reporting ongoing product changes and updating product reference materials.
If you are an organised, analytical person who has the ability to pull relevant information quickly and present complex information clearly in formats such as excel then we would like to hear from you! We ideally would like someone who has worked in a similar environment and has a genuine interest in automotive.
Responsibilities include:
⚡ Perform desktop market research on various areas (competitor price & specification, total cost of ownership, mobility market, competition, industry and customers, EV grants & subsidies)
⚡ Produce regular internal and external market reports to inform wider management team about LEVC and market performance
⚡ Maintain and update product reference materials and ensure accuracy of customer-facing data
⚡ Manage sales/marketing tools including running cost and CO2 savings calculators
⚡ Support the Engineering change process through provision of marketing data, ensuring accurate inputs, and provide early analysis of any potential customer-perceived changes
⚡ Manage Residual Value process, working closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies to positively influence LEVC product positioning
⚡ Manage Marketing display areas and vehicle assets
⚡ Provide adhoc support to Sales and Marketing departments areas to ensure efficient operations
Experience to succeed
⚡ A suitable candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent in working experience.
⚡ The candidate would ideally have 2 - 3 years experience in data analytics or product & pricing within the UK market.
⚡ Automotive enthusiast or experience in the automotive industry is essential
⚡ Analytical and numerical mindset
⚡ Strong communication skills
⚡ Ability to autonomously take ownership of small projects and prioritise tasks
⚡ Ability to work under pressure and willingness to work overtime in some occasions
⚡ Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
⚡ Valid UK driving license essential
