Junior Test Systems Software Engineer

What we need?
A junior software engineer to develop software for test systems, production applications, and general tools. Works with the hardware focused members of the team to create test solutions for both old and new products.


Role Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain software solutions primarily using C# and SQL.
  • Utilize your experience with Arduinos for controlling and interfacing with electronic components in various projects.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and debugging software issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Engage in learning opportunities to enhance your skills.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the team by actively participating in team meetings and discussions.
  • Work closely with hardware engineers to understand and implement software requirements based on electronic schematics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members on software-related aspects of electronic projects.
  • Maintain version control using Git for efficient software project management.
  • Comply with all H&S, Quality Management System and company procedures and proactively support process improvement.


Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in C# programming language.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts.
  • Experience using Arduinos for controlling electronic projects.
  • Familiarity with robotics or mechatronics.
  • Exposure to version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Internship or project experience involving C# and SQL.
