Research Analyst – Hedge Fund Executive Search at Clifton Global

The role

As our client continues to grow, they are looking for an ambitious Research Analyst to join and help champion the firm’s research process. This is a crucial hire, and the firm will be fully invested in the development, mentorship, and career progression of the successful candidate. The location is flexible, with the Partners being based in Bath, UK, and Melbourne, Australia. You will be detail-focused, with a ‘can-do’, confident & inquisitive mindset.

Key Responsibilities

 

· Conduct research (identifying suitable candidates) for specialized technology, data science, and quantitative research hiring for global technology and financial services firms

· Create quality long lists of candidates for multiple searches at one time, ultimately providing first-rate, hireable ‘short lists’ of candidates

· A self-motivated and intuitive approach to digesting relevant daily press and articles to assist the firm’s wider market knowledge

· Be comfortable contacting ‘Sourcing’ individuals for potential candidate recommendations/ market intelligence

· Continually improve the research process and proprietary database with innovative ideas

· Balance ad hoc projects whilst sustaining longer-term projects

· Possess a basic knowledge of hedge funds and proprietary trading and a desire to work on technology-focused hiring, e.g., developers, engineers, and other related technology-focused positions
