Graduate Fire Engineer
This role can be based out of our London, Bicester or Manchester office.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and reliable Graduate Fire Engineer to join our Bicester office, who possesses a recognised fire safety engineering qualification. You will be supporting our experts across a variety of projects both autonomously and as part of a wider team, therefore it is key you are able to work efficiently as part of a team, as well as independently. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a specialised area and begin your journey with SOCOTEC.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
- Develop design and construction fire safety strategies
- Prepare fire safety assessment for external walls
- Prepare other technical engineering analysis such as CFD Modelling, Structural fire engineering, etc.
- Carry out site visits when required
- Provide fire safety advice
- Write fee proposal letters
- Liaise with clients on a regular basis
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (mechanical, structural, civil, or a similar field)
- Involvement with a professional body
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
