The Governors of this highly successful, partially selective, mixed school invite applications for the post of Teacher of French. We seek a highly motivated and energetic candidate to join our very successful and very well resourced Modern Languages department as part of a team of specialist language teachers (teaching French, German and Spanish) and language assistants. The vast majority of students are expected to take a language at GCSE and French is a very popular option. You will also need to be able to teach students up to and including A level.
In the 2023 A level examinations:
- Out of 11 students, 9 were graded A*-A in A Level French with 100% achieving A*- C.
In 2023 GCSE examinations:
- Over 84% of GCSE French results were graded at 5 or above, with 48% achieving a grade 7, 8 or 9.
