Graduate Environmental & Sustainability Advisor

Our Graduate Programme

We have an exciting opportunity for a Environmental graduate, or a related degree programme graduate(or having completed relevant modules) to come and join us. The roles will be based across a variety of live construction projects in London and the South East.

Our graduate programme is a year long during which time we’ll nurture and develop both your behavioral and technical skills. You’ll have a chance to work across different projects and gain exposure to departments of our business, building technical knowledge and industry experience. You must be available to start by September 2024. 

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Assist in providing advice on best practice for environmental and sustainability matters on site and across the company.
  • Assist and advise project teams on the delivery of high-quality environmental reporting.
  • Assist and support Managers and Supervisors to ensure compliance with all requirements stipulated in relevant site plans (and assist in development/dissemination of plan specifics).
  • Assist in the identification of significant environmental risks and sustainability issues.
  • Support HSE and operational teams with environmental inspections on site.
  • Assist in the collation and review of environmental and sustainability statistics.
  • Partake in accident/incident investigations in accordance with the company process and assisting with analysis of data, making recommendations to avoid re occurrences.
  • Assist with development and implementation of Environmental and Sustainability campaigns.

What we’re looking for

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
  • Basic understanding of HSE requirements.
  • Awareness of the types of projects blu-3 undertakes
