What will you be doing?
On our 18-month commercial graduate programme starting September 2024, you will undergo rotations, giving you a broad understanding of the business and how it operates. You’ll get the opportunity to work on industry-leading projects and gain hands-on experience in areas such as:
- Network Planning
- Timetable Scheduling
- Contract Negotiation and Stakeholder Management
- Fares and Ticketing
- OPCC (Operations Performance Control Centre)
- Operations/Supervisory Placement – staff and depot management
- Marketing and Customer Service
- Health, Safety, Environment and Facilities
- Driving a bus in service – get your PSV licence!
- Secondment to Go North East
With this structured commercial career path, at the end of your scheme you will be able to specialise in an area within the commercial function, where you will continue to be supported and developed.

What are we looking for?
- A 2:2 or above (or equivalent) in a degree relating to Mathematics or Finance
- Has a full UK drivers licence
