What will you be doing?

On our 18-month engineering graduate programme starting September 2024, you will undergo rotations, giving you a broad understanding of the business and how it operates. You’ll get the opportunity to work on industry-leading projects and gain hands-on experience in areas such as:

  • Workshop Floor – understanding processes and shadowing experienced engineers
  • Inspecting, Maintaining and Repairing Vehicles
  • Health, Safety and Risk
  • Operations/Supervisory placement – staff and depot management
  • Driving a bus in service – get your PSV licence!
  • Secondment to Go North West

With this structured engineering career path, at the end of your scheme you will be able to specialise in an area within the engineering function, where you will continue to be supported and developed.

What are we looking for?

  • A 2:2 or above (or equivalent) in a relevant Engineering discipline
  • Has a full UK drivers licence with access to a car
  • Has strong mechanical and technical skills, preferably related to motor vehicles
