First Line Engineer - Polish

We are looking for a Multilingual first-line support engineer.

This is a permanent hybrid role based out of our Head Office in Sheffield.

From Internet connectivity and smart building technology to IT and data centre services, ASK4’s solutions bring buildings to life. Working with clients across student housing, build to rent, later living and other sectors, we ensure that people are able to live life and work productively.

ASK4’s first-line support engineer work as part of a technical support team providing industry-leading support to both existing and new customers, including ASK4’s student, residential and ASK4 business customer base. This is a fantastic role to start your career in IT or Telecoms. You will have the opportunity to gain skills, qualifications and experience in a growing international business.

What you’ll be doing:

Working 37.5 hours a week covering the support centre opening hours.

                Mon-Fri - 08:00 - 22:00

                Sat-Sun - 08:00 - 20:00

  • Full technical training provided!
  • You will be providing first-class customer service to our Internet clients and end users.
  • The day-to-day role will be monitoring our phone lines, emails, and our chat box.
  • Help customers sign up and log in to our internet services.
  • Logging calls/emails or live chats into the system and escalating to the second line when necessary.
  • 1st Line diagnosis and resolution of technical faults.
  • You will be the contact point for customer account administration.
  • Translate written and oral communication from English to an Additional Language and vice versa.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have strong written and verbal communication (English and Polish)
  • Customer service experience is key!
  • It's desirable to have a good basic knowledge of operating systems and networking or a passion to learn!
  • Professional approach and phone manner.
