The Corporate Reputation team work with the world’s largest multi-national companies to shape and underpin their reputation management and communication decisions. What drives people’s trust (or lack thereof) in a company or brand? What are opinions on key issues in the tech sector, for oil & gas majors, or for FMCG companies? Which communications and messages will help maintain an organisation’s reputation? These are all questions we help answer for our clients.

Working with leading tech, pharmaceutical, infrastructure and finance companies, we enable our clients to understand perceptions among stakeholders to help them build trust, our key metric. We support them by:

  • Gathering baseline levels of awareness of their brands, strategies and aims;
  • Understanding the context in which they operate through wider Ipsos data;
  • Assessing impact of their communications and partnerships;
  • Advising them how best to build trust.

Our experts provide mixed-method research using engaging new digital tools and harnessing AI, as well as advanced modelling techniques. Our job is to be confident and challenging; using our knowledge of the sector and wider data sources to interrogate our primary research and advise our clients to help them navigate what can be tricky regulatory environments.

The Role

As a Graduate Research Executive, you’ll be encouraged to take responsibility from the outset - thrown straight into working on live projects. You will have a real impact on client business decisions, working with data to create insight led findings and storytelling the opportunities that exist.

You will learn about the true impact of our research and how it influences our clients, appreciating their commercial imperatives and organisational challenges. Supported by your manager & team, you will:

  • Develop your research knowledge and methodologies including use of Generative AI
  • Develop skills covering all aspects of corporate reputation and communications
  • Be part of a team designing and delivering research projects from inception to delivery
  • Be involved: from checking data files and tables, to analysing open ended response to frame rich stakeholder insights
  • Get the opportunity to work across a variety of clients and sectors for broad exposure to this exciting area
  • Quality check key deliverables, ensuring they are delivered accurately and to the highest standards
  • Prepare, plan, prioritise and communicate effectively to ensure deliverables are sent to schedule
  • Help us think about how we can deliver our conclusions and recommendations in an engaging and meaningful way

About You

  • A natural curiosity about the world we live in, including political and business contexts
  • A passion for topical issues, with an openness and motivation to get stuck in to understanding what builds trust in corporations across a wide range of sectors (from pharmaceutical to financial services, tobacco to tech)
  • A drive to not just deliver facts (the what), but to question and interpret those facts into the “so what” and the “now what”
  • The ability to work creatively and think commercially
  • Thrive in a team environment working collaboratively with colleagues to delight clients
  • Strong attention to detail and a deep interest in analysing and exploring data
  • Strong interpersonal skills – the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively working with many people and cultures
  • Great organisational skills and the ability to manage projects efficiently and effectively, utilising MS tools

Along with ….

  • The unrestricted right to work in the UK
