Junior Electrical Integration Engineer

  • Location: Gaydon (WestMidlands)

Responsibilities

 

Reporting to the Team Leader, the successful candidate will support the development of EE systems for high-end, iconic sports cars. It will be your responsibility to guarantee the functional & technical delivery of projects within your field of expertise, delivering vehicle targets, through the following activity:

 

  • Ensure both functional and platform commodities are integrated and delivered
  • Cross functional team integration to plan and achieve programme delivery
  • Effective reporting, identifying issues and driving a concern resolution approach
  • Manage your functions virtual and physical design verification plan, with overall sign off responsibility
  • Definition and understanding of network signals, ECU coding / configuration and development
  • Checking software functions, network signal alignment and diagnostics
  • Functional testing on labcars at vehicle level (system integration
  • Management and resolution of test issues with suppliers

 

Required skills

 

With a strong technical, analytical and quality focused mind-set, you should be used to setting and delivery to targets, through clear and confident communication, including experience of supplier management. Specific requirements of these roles include :

 

  • An Electrical / Electronics Engineering degree (or equivalent / related) (Masters Degree Highly Desirable)
  • Demonstrable understanding of delivering Electrical or Electronics commodities, including quality, cost, function, weight and timing
  • Proven record experience of networks /diagnostics / integration with specific feature / function ownership and delivery
  • Experience of one or more of the following commodity areas: Body Electronics, Telematics, Park Assist, Antenna, Lighting, EDS, Switchgear, Cluster and Display, Infotainment, Audio, CAD Design, Networks
  • Programme Management Support Team experience appreciated
  • Usage of AUTOSAR stack and Vector tool-chain required. Any experience with INCA would be a plus.
  • UK and overseas travel may be required.
