An opportunity has arisen for an organised and enthusiastic Finance Administrator to work alongside a skilled and established Operations team, based at Liverpool University.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support on all aspects finance administration for the wider team. This would be a great opportunity for an individual interested in pursuing a career in Finance. The ideal candidate will be IT savvy, solutions based, have a background in administration and experience working in an office environment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supporting the operational managers to maintain their work in progress and debt profile
  • Supporting the operational managers to understand customer profitability
  • Raising sales invoices and credits in accordance with company policies
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Liaising with credit control to ensure debt remains in line with T&Cs
  • Providing support and information to the finance team during financial audits in relation to the department’s activities
  • Uploading information to the client’s systems as required
  • Other admin duties as required

Desired/Essential Experience:

  • Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel (Essential)
  • Excellent computer and I.T competencies (Essential)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (Essential)
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload, managing multiple tasks concurrently (Essential)
  • Previous administration experience
