Healthcare Assistant

Nurseplus is looking for Healthcare Assistants to work within nursing and residential homes in Exeter and the surrounding areas.

Your role as a Healthcare Assistant is to enable individuals to achieve independence in accordance with their care plan; providing aid and help whenever necessary. The day to day tasks of a Healthcare Assistant can differ, however you can expect to support people with social, physical and day-to-day activities such as;

• Personal care
• Assisting with the safe lifting and moving of clients
• Administering medication
• Meal preparation and planning
• Companionship and emotional support
