Physiotherapist

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and ambitious physiotherapist to join our team. As a new Physiotherapy graduate, you will have the opportunity to embark on a challenging yet rewarding journey with us. Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.

2. Provide hands-on treatment and implement evidence-based techniques to facilitate recovery and improve functional outcomes.

3. Educate patients on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and exercises to promote long-term wellness.

4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient care.

5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions in accordance with regulatory standards.

6. Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and ensure a positive patient experience throughout the treatment process.

 

Additional Expectations:

1. Willingness to undergo training with the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute (APPI) to become proficient in leading 1:1 Pilates sessions and group classes.

2. Develop a comprehensive understanding of biomechanics, strength training and plyometrics for high-level rehabilitation and movement analysis.

3. Integrate new skills and knowledge gained from training into current practice to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction. 

 

Qualifications:

1. Completion of a degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.

2. Eligibility for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

4. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

5. Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
