Content Executive

We are seeking a talented and passionate Content Executive to join our Communications and Marketing team.

As a Content Executive, you will be responsible for producing compelling and informative content in our tone of voice which resonates with our audience and showcases the exceptional care and services offered. You will be a key player in our content creation.

As part of our small dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall communications strategy through providing engaging and impactful content.

This role is a hybrid opportunity, where you'll work from home 4 days a week and travel to one of our care homes across the UK one day a week. This is your opportunity to meet residents and relatives and hear about their stories to use in our proactive PR and Communications. Expenses are paid from your place of work at home. This is a full time position of 40 hours a week, although we would consider a staggered start to tie in with graduating.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Work closely with the Head of Communications and Digital Performance Marketing Manager to produce content aligned with the overall communication and marketing objectives.
  • Create high-quality, engaging content for various platforms, including our website, social media, newsletters and print materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including management teams and activities coordinators to gather insights and stories which highlight the unique aspects of our care homes.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and effectively communicates our values and mission.
  • Maintain content calendars to ensure a consistent and timely flow of information.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay informed and generate innovative contentideas.
  • Create posters for care homes across our group.
  • Any other content creation and copywriting as required.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

 

  • Degree or equivalent work experience in English Language, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
  • Proven experience in content creation, preferably within the healthcare or care home industry.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong understanding of social media.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across different departments.
  • A creative, solutions-driven mindset with the ability to generate engaging content ideas.
  • Someone who thrives on working in a fast-paced, person-centred business where priorities can pivot and change.

  • Must be willing to travel to our care homes across the UK one day a week. Expenses paid from home
