Summer Camp Counsellor

ISSFT are seeking fun-loving Camp Counsellors to join our team this summer!

As a Camp Counsellor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and memorable summer experience for our students. This is an incredible opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people while gaining life skills and experiences in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Our beautiful Stirling campus will become home to a group of international teenagers, many of whom speak English as their second language. Your key remit will be to build a rapport with the students, run a variety of sports and art-based activities, supervise mealtimes, chaperoning trips to the main cities, support students with homesickness and be a good role model. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, organised, reliable and enjoy working with young people.

This is a residential role therefore accommodation, meals and uniform are all provided as part of the package. Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be available from the 27th of June to the 10th of August 2024. All staff must participate in a mandatory training session which will be scheduled prior to the start of summer school.

There are no official qualifications needed for this role however please be advised that our recruitment process will include testing and reference checks, and successful candidates will be required to obtain a child safeguarding certificate for example PVG or DBS.
