About You:

 

You are a recent graduate driven with a passion for cybersecurity, eager to apply academic knowledge to real-world challenges. We are looking for someone who:

 

  • Has a foundational understanding of networking, operating systems, and security principles.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills, capable of effectively working within a team and communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Shows adaptability to rapidly changing technologies and security scenarios.
  • Is committed to continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
  • Preferably has engaged with Cyber Security learning platforms, explored the Dark Web, or completed relevant Cyber Security projects.

 

About The Team:

 

Our cybersecurity team is a robust blend of blue teaming and red teaming experts dedicated to ensuring that our company's security posture is not only reactive but proactive. We focus on defensive strategies and offensive simulations to continually test and refine our security measures. The team collaborates closely with various departments to foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness and to integrate comprehensive security measures effectively.

 

About The Role:

 

Join our Cyber Security Team as a Graduate Cyber Security Analyst and embark on a journey where resilience, reliability, and proactive problem-solving are at the core of what we do. Our team is integral to ensuring the security and operability of our platforms, making us guardians of the company’s digital realm. In this role, you will be actively involved in monitoring security systems, analysing potential threats, and enhancing our defensive strategies. Your responsibilities will include:

 

  1. Security Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor alerts, incidents, and logs to detect potential security breaches and vulnerabilities.
  2. Vulnerability Assessment: Participate in assessments and audits, identifying weaknesses and collaborating on security enhancements.
  3. Incident Response Assistance: Support the containment and resolution of security incidents under senior guidance.
  4. Security Tool Management: Assist in the deployment and management of security tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, and antivirus solutions.
  5. Security Awareness and Training: Help create and deliver training materials to foster a security-aware culture.
  6. Documentation and Reporting: Contribute to cybersecurity documentation and generate insightful security reports.

Requirements

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is highly desirable. Technical familiarity with tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and antivirus software, along with some programming in Python, bash, or PowerShell, is advantageous.

Our Process
 

Our talent acquisition team will be in touch if you're successful, the team will arrange a short screening call (max 30 minutes) to learn more about you, and what you are looking for and answer any questions you may have. If all goes well, the team will share your profile with the hiring manager for review. Our interview process is tailored to each role but typically the first half of the process is run remotely with a final stage on-site.

For this position, you can expect a two-stage interview process:

1st stage - An informal 30-minute video call with the hiring team to discuss your skills and relevant experience. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the role and ask any questions.

2nd Stage – A 60-90-minute formal interview where you can anticipate competency and technical questions alongside a hacking exercise.
