Technical Officer - Asset Management Team

St Leger Homes is an award-winning, customer focused social housing provider that manages over 20,000 homes on behalf of Doncaster Council. 

Working within our Commercial team and reporting to our Architect, you will work closely with our Construction Project Managers to provide first class design and project management services for the efficient and successful delivery of multi-million pound construction, refurbishment and maintenance works undertaken by St Leger Homes and its contractors.

The Technical Officer will provide office and site-based technical support, for the successful delivery of construction, refurbishment and maintenance works undertaken by St Leger Homes and its contractors, ensuring that projects are delivered to the expected quality standards and desired outcomes.

The workload is varied, we are pushing the boundaries of traditional thinking and we can be confident that there will not be a dull moment!

 

Candidate Requirements:

The post requires a dedicated professional who has a minimum of a level 4 qualification in construction and/or the built environment or equivalent. 

As a hardworking individual with a passion for professionalism and the ability to remain calm and clear-thinking when under pressure, the post holder will require excellent organisational skills including the ability to plan and prioritise workload in order to meet targets, timescales and deadlines in a sometimes pressured environment.

The successful applicant for the role must be disciplined, IT and CAD proficient, flexible, possess excellent technical knowledge of the building composition and processes, up to date with current building legislation and standards and have the ability to appreciate the bigger picture.
