The Focus of the Role:
The Affiliate Commerce Executive is a key role in Bauer’s strategy to accelerate the growth of its affiliate revenues through the development and management of merchant, affiliate network, and affiliate agency relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Director of eCommerce and the wider Commerce Content team to achieve and surpass monthly revenue goals.
- Develop rewarding multi-level direct relationships with merchants, affiliate networks, and affiliate agencies across the UK and into target growth markets including the USA.
- Present the Bauer portfolio of brands ensuring external partners understand our propositions, their brand power and global reach.
- Actively manage the commercial relationships, negotiating market leading commercial terms, ensuring they are achieving mutually agreed goals and exploring new monetisation opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure visibility on all external partner activity compliments advertising and branded content activities. Sharing insight and commercial leads as necessary.
- Build an exceptional relationship with the Affiliate Insight team ensuring you have the necessary information to optimise merchant partners and achieve commercial goals.
- Work in partnership with the Affiliate Commerce Executive responsible for Bauer’s German brands, supporting each other in periods of absence and high workload.
- Work in step with commercial teams in important niche markets where direct client relationships are already established.
- Support the onboarding of merchant partners and networks, optimising them for the Bauer portfolio and affiliate best practice.
- Play an active role in ensuring your partners feature in commercial newsletters and social media channels.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, eCommerce strategies, and the evolving digital marketing landscape.
- Develop exceptional editorial relationships that support the wider business goals. Assist the editorial team during peak periods such as Black Friday and Prime Day.
