Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Full-time Teaching Assistant to join our team of supply staff. As a teaching assistant with Teaching Personnel, you will have the opportunity to work in different schools across Liverpool on a temporary basis. This role offers flexibility, variety, and the chance to make a difference in the lives of students across the city.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance with their learning.
  • Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources, as well as classroom setup and organization.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
  • Supervise students during lessons, break times, and other school activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other members of the school community to promote student progress and achievement.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar role within a school setting.
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments and support a variety of teaching and learning activities.
