Overview
Through obtaining a two-year training contract at Memery Crystal and Rosenblatt, you will have the fantastic opportunity to experience working across multiple practice areas.
Rosenblatt is focused on dispute resolution and international arbitration. It is best known for being aggressive, outcome-driven litigators; in high-profile, high-value complex cases. Often with an international element. Memery Crystal is a recognised leader in equity capital markets, M&A, real estate, and natural resources. Its other sectors include, cannabis, gambling, direct selling, hotels, retail and leisure, and technology. You will have the opportunity to represent both brands during your training contract which allows you to receive dual insight and exposure to diverse, interesting, and challenging work for motivated, often high-profile, clients.
Our teamwork, inventive, open culture and agile approach means we set milestones for our clients and our competition. Over the course of the two-year training contract you will complete four sets of six-month seats in any of the following departments: Dispute Resolution, Banking, Commercial IP & Technology, Corporate, Employment, Real Estate, Real Estate Litigation, Real Estate Private Client and Tax. You will work closely with the Partners in each assigned department and will receive regular feedback, helping you to set and achieve goals for their future.

In addition to the excellent day-to-day exposure you will receive, trainees are given on the job training and mentoring, and are invited to all sessions in the firm’s internal training programme, covering practical and technical training as well as business development sessions.
These provide the foundations for a successful career as a lawyer. Trainees are additionally invited to the firms various social and committee initiatives to ensure they are part of the framework of the firm from day one. By choosing us you will also receive our funding support for your PGDL and additionally your LPC or LLM in Legal Practice through the University of Law, along with the SQE1 and SQE2 exam fees if qualifying via the SQE route. In addition, the firm will also provide a maintenance grant of £6,000 for each year of study.

Person specification
We look for applicants who show a variety of experience, a passion for the areas of law we operate in, as well as displaying a mix of other interests. All application forms are read by at least two members of the graduate recruitment team and are compared against our minimum criteria. We set our minimum criteria for potential applicants based on their academic achievements: you should have very good results at GCSE or its equivalent (or a minimum of ABB at A level or equivalent) have no less than 128 UCAS points (or their equivalent, this is 320 UCAS points in the old tariff) at one sitting and a 2.1 degree at university (or be on course for a 2.1 degree). We recognise that not all applicants fulfil these criteria; however, you should only apply if you have other strong qualities.
