At Ipsum it is our vision to be the UK’s customer service leader in specialist utility and infrastructure services. To support this continued growth, we are looking for ambitious graduates to join us on our two-year graduate development programme, commencing in September 2024.

Your new role

We are committed to supporting and developing our people to achieve their full potential. As an HR graduate you will undertake a number of placements within the function, with the opportunity to gain exposure to other business functions such as Commercial, Operations or Project Management, enabling you to develop the commercial acumen, experience and knowledge required to provide effective human resources support to our diverse business.

You can expect to be involved with:
 

  • ​Supporting with attraction and recruitment across the business
  • ​Encouraging probation review completion across the division/business area you support
  • Engaging with schools, colleges & universities in contribution to our apprentice and graduate attraction strategy
  • Assisting with carrying out exit interviews and collating feedback
  • Assisting with HR compliance across the division/business you support
  • Supporting with effective onboarding of new employees
  • Involvement with drafting of contracts, offer letters and variations to terms & conditions where required
  • Providing support with employee relations case work
  • Providing support for effective sickness absence management

About you

  • 2:1 degree, equivalent or higher - ideally in a Human Resources or Business related subject
  • A keen interest in human resources management
  • Resilience and ability to thrive in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Planning, prioritisation and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and level of accuracy
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new challenges
  • Passionate to work in a customer-focused environment
  • Flexibility to travel/ relocate within the UK
