Graduate Quantity Surveyor

An excellent opportunity for a graduate Quantity Surveying graduate to become part of our team in Manchester and work on a wide range of Quantity surveying disciplines both pre and post contract on a variety of commercial projects. Key accountabilities
Understanding of contract administration and detailed knowledge of the various forms of contract (JCT Minor Works, Intermediate, Standard Building Contracts and preferably NEC, Works and PPC 2000).
Cost planning / estimating experience.
Knowledge of procurement.
Understanding of how to compile tender / contract documents including Schedules of Works and Bills of Quantities.
Measurement experience (by hand and CAD Measure) and ability to understand the construction process and apply this to measurement.
Knowledge of Reinstatement Cost Assessments.
Good knowledge of material costings and where to obtain this information.  
Working to complete APC competencies


Performance criteria
BSc in Quantity Surveying or Construction Cost Management
Some QS experience preferable 
Willing to create and build successful relationships
