Graduate Civil Engineer
WANTED : FAR-SIGHTED GRADUATE CIVIL ENGINEER

You will need to be an effective communicator and be able to thrive on collaborative teamwork. Key responsibilities …
- Design of highway layouts for S278 applications
- Design of pavement build ups
- Preparation of flood risk assessments and liaison with local authorities
- Design of sustainable urban drainage systems (SuDS), including green and blue roofs
- Hydraulic modelling and drainage infrastructure design
- Design of Civil Infrastructure using Civil 3D
- Co-ordination of designs with other disciplines, including the in-house structures team
- Work alongside senior team members to develop projects from planning to construction for projects
- Attend sites as required
The ideal candidate skills …
- Minimum 2:1 (hons) degree (or equivalent) in civil engineering from a reputable institution
- Work experience, ideally with an engineering practice
- Good communication skills, including good spoken and written English
- Commitment to achieving chartership
- A proactive, self-motivated and effective team player
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Some experience using computer-aided design software an advantage
