VIP Guest Relations Executive | Cornwall based

Primary Role:

  • Contacting and building relationships with past attendees and prospective guests to promote attendance at our conferences, roundtables, private lunches, dinners and 1-2-1 meetings
  • Meeting or exceeding daily KPIs including call times, emails sent, and contacts made through LinkedIn and Sales Navigator
  • Close adherence to company standards when dealing with key contacts
  • Achievement of personal and event targets
  • Accurate recording of activities within Salesforce CRM system
  • Practicing the agreed MarketforceLive onboarding methodology
  • Attending project and marketing meetings for your events and giving relevant feedback
  • At events, providing a VIP service to all our guests and ensuring that they have everything they need for the event

Secondary Role:

  • Attending and working at in-person events when required, these may include overseas destinations (Europe, Asia, USA)
  • Supporting of setting up and packing down of events
  • Running the VIP and Guest relations desk at our events
  • Leading the re-book campaign
  • Gaining substantial feedback at the event and documenting for the debrief
  • Identify and communicate any potential opportunities for additional events or sponsorship
  • Maintaining company best-practice when using Salesforce
  • Ensuring client data is accurate and updated when necessary
  • Adhering to GDPR policy

Skills required to join the audience acquisition team:

  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Perseverance and dedication akin to a sales role
  • Events background with some experience of onsite delivery
  • Ability to hit deadlines and must be target-driven
  • Flexibility to work different time zones (some events are USA or APAC based)
  • Flexibility to travel to and work at events when required (UK and overseas)
  • Good team player
  • Excellent copywriting (emailing) and IT skills
  • Ability to learn new IT systems
  • Confident personality- speaking to high seniority of contacts (Chiefs, Directors, VPs, Heads etc)
  • Educated to degree level is preferable but not essential

Salary & Package

  • Full-time Mon-Fri (9-5.30 with 1 hour lunch)- these hours may change according to time zones of events
  • Some flexibility in working hours to accommodate unmovable private appointments
  • Basic salary reviewed on an annual basis
  • Commission is uncapped- potential to earn upwards of £5,000 in commission annually giving you an OTE of £27,000 pro rata
  • Full-time remote/working from home position (Cornwall & SW only)
  • Regular in-person co-working days with Cornwall & SW colleagues
  • Cornwall company socials: Christmas and Summer parties and target hitting celebrations
  • Use of company laptop and telephone calling system
  • 25 days holiday per year pro rata
  • Bank holidays are gifted on top of your holiday allowance
  • Travel and hotel expenses for any visits to London office or events (both UK and abroad)
  • Opportunity to work in our London office when visiting
