Physiotherapist

The Nantwich Clinic are looking for an individual who focuses on the best outcome for their patient using their Physiotherapy expertise and knowledge to be part of a multi-disciplinary team. They will work collaboratively with colleagues as part of a close-knit team caring for patients together. Key duties will include:

 

  • Developing and taking responsibility for a clinical caseload
  • Carrying out assessments and reviews, ensuring that patients receive the appropriate treatment
  • Using appropriate communication skills and tools to communicate with patients and colleagues
  • Monitoring, evaluating, and recording patient progress, modifying treatment plans as required.
  • Liaising with agencies including GPs, consultants, hospital staff, PCTs and social services where required.
  • Working as part of a team
  • Attend MDT meetings
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in line with legal requirements
  • Assisting with the training of other health care staff as required

The chosen candidate will be trained in the use of Magnetic Therapy, Shockwave Therapy, Laser Therapy, Pressure plate, Spinal Decompression and R-Force Zero Gravity Running Machine.

The Person
You will be confident in of all aspects of Physiotherapy and have the drive to continually improve and develop your knowledge and understanding of the role. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, be a team player and have a mature and positive outlook. Good ICT knowledge and skills.
Above all, you must have a natural passion which truly cares about putting your patient’s wellbeing as a priority. You will enjoy taking the time to understand what patients truly need, to help make a real difference to their lives.

The clinic caters for a mix of patients including athletes, semi-pro and professionals as well as the general public.
