Graduate Production Engineer - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Position Summary As a Graduate Production Engineer at RLC Langford Lodge, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring efficient aerospace component production. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality, to meet production targets and maintain quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and implement production processes for aerospace components.
- Analyse production data, identify bottlenecks, and propose process improvements.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Work with suppliers to optimise material flow and reduce lead times.
- Support the development of work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Assist in implementing lean manufacturing principles.
- Monitor production metrics and report progress to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Essential Criteria
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and inspection.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, MasterCam) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

- Knowledge of automation.
