Graduate Production Engineer

Graduate Production Engineer - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Position Summary As a Graduate Production Engineer at RLC Langford Lodge, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring efficient aerospace component production. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality, to meet production targets and maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and implement production processes for aerospace components.
  • Analyse production data, identify bottlenecks, and propose process improvements.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Work with suppliers to optimise material flow and reduce lead times.
  • Support the development of work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in implementing lean manufacturing principles.
  • Monitor production metrics and report progress to management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

Essential Criteria

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and inspection.
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, MasterCam) is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Knowledge of automation.
