Operations Manager

Responsible for assisting in successfully executing all operations in the hotel Operations departments (may include Front Office, Business Center, Recreation/Health Club, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage/Culinary and Engineering/Maintenance) and managing staff. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department. Ensures that standards and procedures are being followed. Leads specific team while assisting with meeting or exceeding property goals. The position ensures the Rooms and Food & Beverage operations meet the brand’s target customer needs, ensures associate satisfaction, focuses on growing revenues, and maximizes the financial performance of the department.  Supports the Multi-property General Manager with the development and implementation of hotel-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand’s target customer and associates and provide a return on investment to the owner and Marriott International.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area.

OR

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area.
  • Previously held role at HOD or Operations Manager level within a busy food and beverage or rooms environment hotel.
  • Fully conversant with all Delta Hotels by Marriott Brand Standard operating procedures
