Business Administrator
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Remote Business Administrator to join our administration team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing virtual office operations, and ensuring efficient and smooth day-to-day business activities. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a remote working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the management team, including scheduling virtual meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
- Virtual Office Management: Oversee daily virtual office operations, including maintaining digital files, managing online tools and platforms, and ensuring a well-organised virtual work environment.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital records, including filing electronic documents, managing databases, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, answering inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Project Coordination: Support the planning and execution of projects by coordinating resources, tracking progress, and providing regular updates to the management team.
- HR Support: Assist with remote human resources tasks, including onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, and coordinating virtual training sessions.
- Data Entry: Accurately input and manage data in various systems and databases.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in a remote work setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in an administrative or office management role, preferably in a remote setting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively in a remote environment.
- IT Skills: Proficiency in Google software (Gmail, Docs, Spreadsheets, App Sheet, App Script), Dropbox, Canva
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.

- Knowledge of basic financial principles and accounting practices.
- Familiarity with HR processes and practices.
