Talent Acquisition Sourcer, EMEA

In this role, you will collaborate with our TA Managers and Senior Director for TA to devise strategies for identifying untapped talent. Sourcers develop innovative and practical methods to uncover top candidates, with a strong focus on engaging passive talent through a highly engaged and diversity-driven approach. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sourcing, recruiting, and partnering with business stakeholders to hire top talent for Marriott.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the TA team to understand the requirements of the role/search, its function, and how it fits into the organisation.
  • Partner with the TA team to manage an efficient model of operation.
  • Strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute tactical research, referral generation, events, and sourcing campaigns.
  • Find, engage, and activate passive candidates through the use of Boolean, LinkedIn, and alternative search techniques.
  • Screen resumes and interview candidates to determine basic qualifications.
  • Regularly track pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders.
  • Recommend and drive improvements that impact pipelines.
  • Build and share knowledge of skills, target companies, conferences, and communities with the TA Team.
  • Innovate and drive diversity sourcing strategies using various tools to help influence.
  • Utilise data for reporting and influencing hiring decisions while maintaining data integrity.
  • Monitor all hiring and recruitment processes for compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and company policies and standards.
  • Provide ad-hoc support when required.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience

  • Extensive sourcing experience with a search firm or in-house recruiting team.
  • Experience working with and building sourcing strategies.
  • Experience developing and executing candidate generation and research techniques.
  • Experience screening resumes to match qualifications.
  • Experience approaching passive candidates.

Skills and Knowledge 

  • Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing, and presenting).
  • Strong LinkedIn recruiter skills for sourcing, pipelining and talent identification.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to grow our network of HR Partners, senior stakeholders, GM population, and Continent teams.
  • Strong analytical skills; can quickly analyze situations.
  • Ability to network and build relationships.
  • Effective decision-making skills; can choose a course of action amongst options where there is uncertainty, ambiguity or risk.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
