Graduate Business Development

Wynne Aviation is a fast-growing express global logistics company. Our head office is based at Liverpool Airport and in 2022 we opening a site based at Isle of Man Airport. In 2025 we will be opening a third base in London. We are a family business with over 30 years in the aviation and logistics industry

As part of our continual expansion, we are looking to recruit a final year student/recent graduate, for the newly created post of Business Development Representative, as we in enter into this exciting expansion period of our business operations.

We would like the successful applicant to take up this post during August/early September.

Job Details

As part of our continued expansion, we would like to recruit a graduate to the post of Business Development Representative (BDR). There is currently no Business Development Manager (BDM), so you would be reporting directly to the Managing Director. As the BDM role is vacant there is an opportunity if you impress to be quickly promoted to a BDM position. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will identify new business opportunities, improve profitability and help the business grow.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Lead generation
  • Account management
  • Identifying new trading partner opportunities
  • Sales reporting
  • Meeting prospect decision makers
  • Managing the full sales life cycle
  • Sales & marketing strategy
  • Working as part of a successful team

Personal Requirements/Key Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Enthusiastic
  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to drive

Working Conditions:

  • Full time position with occasional travel, depending on business needs
  • Office based

Pay Conditions:

  • Salary: £24,000 per annum
  • Company car & sales commission
  • Clear career progression

As we are providing a company, car candidates must hold a full Drivers Licence.

Degree Requirements

Applicants should possess a degree discipline relative to Business or Marketing, but this is by no means essential, so along as candidates can demonstrate through their application they possess the above attributes/experience.

We see this role as being an integral role to our expansion plans, with the right candidate being provided with the opportunity to progress to a senior management position within the company, in matters of a few years of being appointed.
