Graduate Technical Consultant

Must have a turf related or civils degree. Mentored training providing.

Office based at STRI’s Head Office in Bingley, West Yorkshire with opportunities to travel.

This is an amazing opportunity to join STRI’s expanding technical design team based in Bingley, West Yorkshire.

 

We are world leaders in the design and development of sports facilities both domestically and internationally and the role as Graduate Consultant will see the selected candidate become part of an experienced and dynamic design team.

 

STRI Group delivers a broad portfolio of sports and leisure facilities including elite stadiums, racetracks, community sports fields, golf courses and urban solutions. We take projects from concept, through the design and the planning process, on to construction and operations.

 

We are looking for an individual with the skill and drive to be mentored in every aspect of these unique developments. Once training is complete you will be at the heart of some of the most exciting projects in sports, with a dynamic career development path.

 

Key abilities:

- Relevant civils, agronomic or agricultural qualification

- Technically familiar with core concepts of sports surface construction, i.e. profile, drainage, earthworks and irrigation

- Computer literacy essential, CAD literacy beneficial

- Articulate with excellent communication skills

- Self-motivated, ambitious and able to work autonomously

- Sufficiently mature to understand role development opportunity and have a and longer-term vision and aspiration for their career

- Should hold a relevant degree level qualification or vocational experience
