Trainee Surveyor / Surveyor

NIE Networks is finalising a new business plan to cover the next price control period (RP7) from 2025 to 2031.   During this time we plan to invest £3bn in Northern Ireland’s electricity infrastructure to contribute towards meeting the targets outlined in the Climate Change Act.  Our vision is to deliver a sustainable energy system for all, by leading the transition to a net zero future. 

A vacancy has arisen for a Trainee Surveyor / Surveyor within our Connections team. The successful candidate will initially be focused on surveying and preparing files for our Connections construction business. The role is based in our Craigavon Depot. 

The Trainee Surveyor / Surveyor will be responsible for completing site surveys, negotiating legalities, and production of field file packs within the Connections team. In addition the successful candidate will be required to liaise with both internal and external customers regarding the various work streams and provide updates to allow accurate construction timescales and project delivery.
