About the role: 

Position: Flexible Host 

Contract type: Permanent / Full Time 

Location: Immediately next to the University Campus

Salary: £xx-£xx (Based on Experience) 

The Flexible Host is a pivotal role in our day-to-day operations, and they act as the face of the business and first point of contact. 

The average week will see the Flexible Host ensure that our customers needs are met and that our exceptional customer service levels are upheld. 

The Flexible Host will be the first point of contact for our customers and will duly escalate issues to the Facilities Team Leader and the Lead Host where needed. 

They will help create a positive working environment and will always be friendly, approachable and happy to help out. 

The successful candidate will work across our portfolio of buildings. 

Key Responsibilities

● Carrying out the front of house duties including hosting tasks, call answering and forwarding; and welcoming visitors. 

● Working alongside the Host team as the main points of contact for customer enquiries and having the confidence to refer these to relevant colleagues where needed. 

● Managing the customer portal and meeting room/visitor car parking bookings and preparing rooms in advance for customers. 

● Helping with our exciting and engaging calendar of customer events and socials. 

● Allocating fobs and updating the access control systems in line with customer requests. ● Ensuring all communal facilities are presentable with working AV equipment and facilities. ● Promoting the well-being and culture of the business to all customers and colleagues.

● Understanding and using the security management systems including access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, and fire alarms. 

● Understanding and implementing all employer obligations for health and safety in conjunction with the LSP health and safety policy. 

● Attending team meetings and undertaking training where necessary. 

● Ensuring vacant suite checks are presentable and that suites are maintained to a high standard.

● Building relationships with our customers and contractors.

● Have experience working in a customer focused role (not necessarily property based) 

● Be hard working and self-motivated. 

● Have a keen eye for detail and desire to improve their surroundings. 

● Have the ability to work in a team positively and collaboratively.
