Business support planner lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Reablement service for a Business Support Planner Lead. You will be in charge of a medium-sized Business Support Team (approximately 10 staff), overseeing dynamic change, predominantly in relation to Reablement and IT, ensuring that data is captured and reported effectively, and our systems are as robust as possible to meet service requirements.

What will be expected from me?

 

  • Ensure that relevant data is recorded, analysed and collected to support statutory requirements and to support meeting attendance and senior management meetings when discussing the services.
  • Maintain effective working relationships between the Reablement and Peripatetic Service and other specialist agencies, to include Community Health Services, D/N’s, GPs, Hospitals, voluntary organisations and independent care service providers.
  • Oversee and manage the IT systems within the service, ensuring efficiencies are made and the systems are always current in line with service requirements and staff are trained appropriately.
  • Work as part of the Reablement and Peripatetic Service to provide operational and day to day management of services by line managing the business support team, ensuring that workload is prioritised and consistent when allocating care packages.
  • This is a hybrid role, so there will be elements of office and home working.

 

Essential requirements:

 

  • Level 3 Leadership & Management qualification or significant relevant experience.
  • Significant experience within Adult Social Care.
  • Category B Driver’s Licence.
