Assistant Team Manager - Adult Safeguarding Team

You will be responsible for the effective day to day delivery, management of resources and staff employed by Wakefield Council. You will play a key role in delivering high quality services and meeting performance targets for assessment and care management. 

You will be responsible for allocation of work to staff (according to priorities) and responsibility for the management of work that is not allocated. The role will involve supervising Social Workers and Care Coordinators and managing and allocating the referrals that come to the team.
